This project consisted of the redevelopment of the existing Nichols garden centre site by relocating the existing retail store into an adjacent unused truck servicing depot.

Significant demolition of the truck servicing building was completed leaving sufficient support to retain the existing roof structure. New walls with high level windows to provide ample light for the garden retail operation were installed along with a new overlaid concrete floor complete with underfloor heating, which provides the required conditions for a garden centre.

A popular cafe operation was incorporated in the design to promote mutual opportunities and create a destination for shoppers.
