Victoria Hotel Development

Core Civil Solutions NZ Ltd (CCS) have been commissioned to install the 70 continuous pressure injection piles.

The clever technology creates a structural pile by mixing grout with the existing sub soil materials. Highly pressurized grout is continuously supplied to the drilling rig allowing continuous grout injection down the hollow steel bar and through the drill head nozzle.  Within minutes the pile is formed and is a very cost effective option compared to the traditional methods.

PANS NZ Ltd have answered the needs of the local accommodation market and are expanding the capacity of Victoria Hotel, in St Andrew St, from 42 to 72 rooms. The new rooms will be in a purpose-built, three-storey building beside the existing hotel. A central canopy will connect the new building to the old. Hotel owner and manager Leo Pan said the new building would open by the end of October 2016. Rooms would include studios, two-bedroom apartments and an executive suite, with spa, large lounge and high-quality finish. The hotel would also house a gymnasium, he said.
