Millbrook's New Golf Course Takes Shape

Grass is already well established on the first four golf holes of the new nine currently under construction at Millbrook Resort in Arrowtown, near Queenstown.  The new nine is part of the resort's major Dalgleish Farm land development.  Work on the project started in mid-2018 and will see the resort add another 42 residential sites and an additional nine holes to its current 27 hole course.

A large earthmoving contract has been carried out over the summer period and is nearing completion.  The earthworks has formed the basic shape of the golf course, roads and the new house sites.  A specialist golf course construction contractor has also been working on the site installing golf drainage and irrigation systems, carrying out final course shaping and building tees and greens.  Construction of four of the holes is already complete with grass well established.

Millbrook's specialist grow-in team now takes over the completed holes to nurture the grass into a playable condition.

Construction of underground services for the residential lots is about to start and road building will get underway next summer.

Signal has managed Millbrook's ongoing land development programme since 2006.  The Dalgleish Farm development s the latest part of this programme and will be completed in late 2020.
