Signal Management Group was engaged by Maori Hill School to
implement the planning, design and construction of the
administration, library and resource areas.
Funding from the Ministry of Education for additional space was
approved on the schools roll growth entitlement. This allowed
an extension to the existing library, administration and resource
facilities providing an opportunity to create a new entrance and
profile to the school.
The redevelopment was carefully planned around the ongoing
operation of the school. The school now provides flexible
facilities capable of adapting to future changes in curriculum
delivery and teaching environments.
The scope for the project was as follows:
- Creating a large extension to the Junior Block resource
area.
- Extending and redeveloping the existing administration to link
with the library, providing a new multi-purpose teaching
space.
- Landscaped entry to the administration area.
Signal Management Group has been engaged to continue with
further 5YA capital projects at the school .
